Silver Moon
Silver Moon, in a wooded area close to a bog, attracts a variety of birds and all sorts of wildlife. Huge oak, maple and pine trees surround the yurt.
Silver Moon features a croquet court, firepit, a private therapeutic hot tub and fiber wifi. A trail leads from Silver Moon to the pond….. or is it a lake, the Nature Conservancy 1300 acre reserve that abuts The Appleton Retreat. There is a bathroom addition and screened in porch. The ceiling , with dome is spectacular for bedtime stargazing.
The space
Silver Moon is a 20′ Smiling Woods wooden yurt with an addition that includes a foyer, bathroom and screened in porch. (Snow Sweet is a sister to it. Summer Rose has a more spacious interior but does not have an addition.) A beautiful gas fireplace provides heat to assure a perfect getaway all year long.
The yurt is a contemporary living space with fine amenities and a wrap around deck for enjoying the outdoors. Enjoy cooking in the well stocked kitchen or grilling on the deck…… So many options, perhaps a hot tub and fire in the firepit after dining out at one of the Midcoast fine restaurants.
